The Orange Park School of Music is a family owned and operated small business in The Orange Park Community. We opened our doors in 2017 with one teacher, owner Todd Hansen, and have grown to include many more teachers with backgrounds in different instruments. As teachers, we focus on self-expression and creativity with all our students. In addition to thoroughly covering the basic rudiments of music, we ask our students to put something of themselves into the music they create. As a result, music lessons are not just another responsibility in life, they are an outlet for self-expression and a source of enjoyment. We believe that everyone is born with some degree of musical ability. As music educators, it is our goal to help students find their musical ability and nurture it.

College Trained Teachers
Our instructors are highly qualified and have extensive performance experience. Most importantly, our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student’s learning style.
All Ages – Beginners to Advanced
Our current students range from 4 years old to students in their 80’s. We take care to teach you what you want to learn, so music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
No Long Term Contracts Unlike many other music programs, we do not require you commit to a long term contract. We take it one month at a time.
Private Lessons
Private instruction ensures that the student has the undivided attention of the teacher and can progress at a level suited to them individually.
Group Lessons
We offer group lessons for beginning piano, drums, and guitar. These eight week classes are designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the instrument. They are also a great way to determine the interest level of a student and prepare them for private instruction.
Regular Concerts and Recitals
Traditional and “Rock Style” recitals are held at least twice a year. These provide interested students with performance experience and help to build confidence.
New Classes Beginning
Private Lessons:
Private Lessons can begin at anytime. They are $24 per lesson, $96 per month for 4 lessons per month, one 1/2 hour lesson per week. Lessons starting in the middle of the month will be prorated for that month and be billed monthly thereafter at the beginning of the following month. There is a one time registration fee of $45 per family. Families enrolling more than one private lesson student will get a 10% discount on the second student.
Please note: Voice lessons are $27 each for a total of $108 a month.

Group Classes:
Rock Band Class: 6 week class, cost $100 for OPSM students and $120 for non-students. Should be able to play some open chords and power chords.
Adult Rock Band Class: 6 week class, cost $100 for OPSM students, $120 for non-students.
Beginner Guitar Class : 6 weeks, $100 for OPSM students, $120 for non-students.
Adult Jam Class: This is an ongoing class. Primarily acoustic. Start anytime with a 6 week commitment. Cost $100.
