This course is being offered at the St. Johns River State College Orange Park campus. This is a wonderful way to begin your musical journey if you are just starting out but value the results of commitment. It is given by the Orange Park School of Music’s owner Todd Hansen.

Explore the history of jazz, its most impactful contributors, fundamental jazz styles, improvisation techniques and so much more.

A 4-week course focusing on the fundamentals of singing (breathing exercises, various warm ups, and vocal techniques) paired with learning easy guitar, piano, and/or ukulele chord accompaniments to help the beginning singer/songwriter get started pursuing their passion. Learn the basics along with song writing tips to help shape your music into the creations you’ve envisioned and gain confidence practicing in a group setting. This course is given by Can’t Never Could’s lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dinah Frilling at the St. Johns River State College Orange Park campus.

Maybe you always wanted to play an instrument, but are just now mustering up the courage. Maybe you played as a child, but life’s demands got in the way. That’s okay. We are here to help you build the skills you need to grow your music. These lessons are held at the Orange Park School of Music.

This course will show you how to lay multi-track recordings of vocals and instruments. You will get to know the ins and outs of a Digital Audio Workspace (DAW) and the essentials of mixing and mastering for real-life publishing and distribution. This course is held at both the Orange Park School of Music and St. Johns River State College Orange Park campus locations.
